We had you at crunch, right? Our twist on a Chinese Chicken Salad, made better with perfectly crispy Social Kitchens Citrus Orange Shrimp, fresh cabbage base and a homemade sesame soy dressing.

Try this in smaller portions as an appetizer or roll it up into a wrap for a satisfying lunch.

Ingredients

Salad

  • 5 cups mixed shredded cabbage and carrots
  • ¼ cup chopped cilantro
  • ¼ cup chopped green onion
  • 1, 10 oz can mandarin oranges, drained
  • ¼ cup sliced almonds, to serve

Sesame Soy Dressing

  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • ½ tbsp grated ginger
  • 2 cloves garlic, grated
Instructions
  1. Add the shredded cabbage and carrots, cilantro, and green onion to a large bowl.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together all the ingredients for the sesame soy dressing. Pour the dressing over the cabbage mixture and toss to mix all ingredients.
  3. Divide the cabbage mixture into two or three serving bowls, then top with the mandarin oranges and sliced almonds.
  4. Cook the shrimp according to package directions, then serve on top of the salad and enjoy!
