- 1 medium-sized head green cabbage, thinly sliced
- ½ small red onion, thinly sliced
- ½ cup chopped cilantro
- 1 serrano pepper, thinly sliced
- 2 limes, juiced
- 1/3 cup olive oil
- 1 tbsp honey
- Pinch of salt and pepper
Summer should be spicy, so make it happen with this Spicy Serrano Slaw! Whether you’re using it as a side dish for our Sweet & Spicy Shrimp, adding it on top of one of our shrimp burgers (or just eating it straight out of the bowl), we know this is a flavor you won’t be forgetting about ANYTIME soon.
Note: This is a pretty spicy slaw. Sub a jalapeno for a less-spicy version, or remove the seeds and membrane from the serrano with a small knife.

- Combine the cabbage, red onion, cilantro, and pepper in a large mixing bowl.
- In a separate bowl, whisk the lime juice, olive oil, honey, and a pinch of salt and pepper until combined.
- Pour over the slaw and toss to combine. Refrigerate for 1 hour before serving.
