Sweet peas, fresh scallions, and a velvety cream sauce come together for a flavor-packed bite. These scallion creamed peas are the side dish you AND your Social Kitchens Sweet & Spicy Shrimp didn’t know you needed 👀👇
Ingredients:
- ½ tbsp olive oil
- 2 scallions, sliced
- 2 tbsp salted butter
- 1 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1 cup whole milk
- Salt and pepper
- 16 oz bag frozen peas, thawed
Directions:
1. Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the olive oil. Add the scallions and saute for 2 minutes.
2. Add the butter to the pan. Once the butter is melted, whisk in the flour and cook for 1-2 minutes, stirring frequently.
3. Whisk in the milk and continue whisking as it thickens, about 3-4 minutes. The mixture should coat the back of a spoon. Stir in a pinch of salt and pepper.
4. Stir in the peas until completely combined and allow the peas to heat in the pan, about 2-3 minutes.
5. Serve alongside Social Kitchens Sweet & Spicy Shrimp and enjoy!

Fresh asparagus and our crispy Sweet & Spicy Shrimp make the perfect pair for an unforgettable meal 😮💨 Want in on this recipe!? Here’s how to make it ⬇️
Ingredients:
- 1 bunch asparagus
- Avocado or olive oil spray
- Salt and pepper
- 10 Social Kitchens Sweet + Spicy Shrimp
Directions:
1. Preheat the oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit.
2. Cut the ends off the asparagus and then cut into thirds.
3. Place onto a large baking sheet and spray with cooking oil and a pinch of salt and pepper. Toss until everything is completely coated.
4. Spread the asparagus around the edges of the sheet pan and place the shrimp in the center.
5. Bake for 12 minutes or until the shrimp is golden and crispy and the asparagus is tender.
6. Toss the shrimp with desired amount of Sweet and Spicy Sauce and enjoy!
